The ESD3000 by EMC Partner is an ESD Generator with a fully portable construction with no additional basic unit requirement. It includes an LCD control panel with 6 menu buttons,1 trigger button, and a holding time of more than 5 s. The generator supports a maximum voltage of 16 kV or 30 kV, depending on the chosen modules, with voltage steps of 100 V for testing. It offers discharge polarity options of positive, negative, or alternating, with modes of contact discharge (CD) and air discharge (AD). This modular handheld ESD generator has a pre-selectable counter from 1 to 29999, and discharge detection can be set to count pulses or discharges with triggering options including manual, automatic, and remote. It is powered by 10 AA rechargeable batteries or mains power and consists of 10 batteries, a mains adapter, a 2 m ground cable, 3 test tips (AD, AD2, CD), a carrying case, an RS232 cable, and E3Loader for remote control. 

The ESD3000 measures 340 x 130 x 70 mm (including DM1 module and tip), with a mainframe weight of 730 g (excluding battery pack and module) and an equipped weight of 1050 g (with battery pack, DM1, and AD tip). It is ideal for testing commercial products, industrial systems, military electronics, automotive electronics, fuses and detonators, railway electronics, avionic equipment qualification, telecom equipment, and electronic components.
